Shadd has been in financial services since 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University and a Bachelor of Business Operations from DeVry Institute of Technology. He also holds the Chartered Investment Manager designation from the Canadian Securities Institute. 

Shadd’s background includes active trading, various financial advisory and management positions. Most recently he was an investment and market expert for a major Canadian bank.  In his previous role he advised high net worth clients while engaging subject matter experts to fulfill their financial needs.

Shadd joined IG in early 2023.
